Here I am doing one of my favorite things, wood burning. I enjoy taking a piece of driftwood and turning it into a piece of art. My process is simple: once a person lets me know what size of sign they want, I send them pictures of several potential pieces of wood. Once the wood is selected, I take the customer's desired text and come up with several design options for them to pick from. Once the design is finalized and the sign has been purchased through my Etsy shop, I begin to layout the design on the wood and then carefully burn it into the wood. Driftwood is a challenge to burn on because it is not always a flat surface, so it takes time and some creative burning to get my signs to look perfect. I love the challenge of burning on driftwood.
